Islamabad High Court (IHC) declares Pegham Union as CBA of Wapda
Hyderabad Sindh (December 18, 2012) - The leaders of Pakistan Wapda Employees Pegham Union said that their union has been declared as CBA of Wapda and their opponent union Hydro electric labour union has lost its registion.
This was stated by employees union president for Sindh Sajan Pahanwar, secretary Rafiuddin Shah, vice chairman Babu Yakoob Alam, Anis Ahmed Khan and others while addressing news conference at press club here on Tuesday. They told their case was pending in courts and on 18 Dec 2012 Islamabad High Court gave decision in their favour as the registration of Hydro unionhad already been cancelled since last 6 months.
This was stated by employees union president for Sindh Sajan Pahanwar, secretary Rafiuddin Shah, vice chairman Babu Yakoob Alam, Anis Ahmed Khan and others while addressing news conference at press club here on Tuesday. They told their case was pending in courts and on 18 Dec 2012 Islamabad High Court gave decision in their favour as the registration of Hydro unionhad already been cancelled since last 6 months.
They pledged old age facilities for retired employees, GLI on retirement, 20% allowance for all offices, promotions of employees on line of officers, time scale, up gradation, move over, selection grade two bonuses each year, recruitment of children of employees on vacant posts, TA and overtime without deduction, risk advance for all employees.
They also told that the former hydro labour union has given call of protest on today 19th against Islamabad High Court decision awarding Pegham union CBA status. They condemned this call and said it would be contempt of court of which they appealed to IHC to take notice of.
